EVERYDAY is Veterans Day!!!
Good day Everyone! Hope you are having a good day. I know most of us are still dealing with winter weather but good news, spring is getting closer.
I know it has been a few days since we have published a blog. Always know that means we have been "doing". This "doers" mentality is at the core of V for Victory Organization!
Over the last couple of weeks we have been "doing" the following work.
We have been working with the design company in finishing design of countertop display for the Retail Partner Kit + Refill Campaign. This Campaign supports Program 3 Healing Without Opioids and supports Work Force Development Campaign by offering an entrepreneurial opportunity to those interested.
Officers have been developing resources to support the Work Force Development Campaign as Part of Program 1 Transition Home. These resources will assist in transitioning from active duty to civilian life with specific help in identifying a potential career path.
We began accepting our first calls in line with Program 2 Buddie Up. Officers have been answering the calls of several needing to talk, listen, and encourage. The need for volunteers here is great. In talking with an employee at a local restaurant we ate at last week, we were able to connect with a group who is like minded toward helping veterans.
It pays off to talk about V for Victory Organization as you never know what resource may be right there for you to connect with. I encourage everyone to talk to others about V for Victory as our larger Team is out here waiting to know about V as they have been looking for a way to help. We believe that in our hearts.
The Officers continue to put in large amounts of time to further move forward the Purpose of V. Many potential Partners have been spoken to and follow up with them is occurring now. We need more, in all parts of the country, so spread the word with your family, friends, coworkers, and network.
