Description
The One USDA Beginning Farming and Ranching Webinar Series Transitioning Service Members, Veterans, and Military Spouses webinar series is designed to provide relevant information and resources to attendees and to demystify information that exists among the military community about USDA Beginning Farming and Ranching Programs and resources. Moreover, the Webinars will draw attendees from across America and its territories and provide critical program information that will better position attendees to enter farming or ranching careers. These sessions will build upon each other, so, it is highly recommended that you attend all five sessions.
You only need to register once to attend all five sessions.
• 1st session, April 23, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. EDT.
Military Veterans Agricultural Liaison (MVAL) Overview, Boots to Business Ag Focus, and Veterans Business Outreach Center.
• 2nd session, April 30, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. EDT.
Veterans Administration’s Loans, and USDA Rural Development Loans/Programs.
• 3rd session, May 07, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. EDT.
Urban Agriculture and Beginning Farming and Ranching.
• 4th session, May 14, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. EDT.
The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Programs for Beginning Farmers Ranchers, and Risk Management (RMA) Programs for Beginning Farmers and Ranchers.
• 5th session, May 21, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. EDT.
Farm Service Agency Programs and Loans for Beginning Farmers and Ranchers and Risk Management Agency programs for Beginning Farmers Ranchers.
